Just a short update to say I'm not dead and am still active. I've decided to take a bit of time out to sit back and actually play some games to get some inspiration. It's been different looking at games while playing them from a design perspective. I'm still playing with coding but nothing worth posting about currently. I have some idea's for small projects I'm currently fleshing out. Thats pretty much all I have for now but just know I'm still here!
Another thing I've wanted to play with for is a classic Snake style follower system. Here's a snake engine I threw together quickly. Some future project might have some use for the follower system at some point, either for a companion who might follow and help out or an escort quest etc.
I also loved how Nimble Quest, messed with the idea of Snake with an action game and might one day revisit that idea with my own twist.

Always been a bit curious about the old "bat and ball" style games like pong or breakout, not really ready to dive into something structured yet just wanted to do a bit of free coding / trial and error just to see what I could throw up.
